Issues concerning society and culture are taught and researched in the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences using the latest scientific methods and findings. The study programs are prepared jointly by Turkish and German scholars according to international standards and in line with the Bologna Process. Through the Turkish-German academic partnership, there will be an exchange of experience in the study programs on issues related to culture and society. Faculty graduates are provided with in-depth knowledge, skills, and competencies that enable them to describe new situations, analyze data and phenomena, and develop solutions based on the scientific perspective they have gained.From this understanding, the basic goal of the program will be to enable young people to analyze national and global issues and problems related to their field, to propose solutions, and to be able to critically evaluate and process them using analytical methods.The teaching language is Turkish and German. The duration of education will be 4 years (8 semesters). For those who do not know or do not know enough German, a preparatory year will provide the necessary language skills. In addition to the Turkish scholars, German scholars will be employed to perform teaching duties and participate in the academic activities. The Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences is partnered with the University of Heidelberg. The faculty coordinator is Prof. Dr. Michael Waltisberg.
