The Academic General Assembly Meeting of our Faculty was held on 28 January 2026. During the meeting, the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, presented an evaluation of the previous period and shared information regarding the planning process for the current period. Within this framework, the academic and administrative activities of the faculty were addressed from a holistic perspective, and particular emphasis was placed on the significance of the ongoing FEDEK Accreditation process in terms of the faculty’s quality assurance approach.

Within the scope of the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş stated that interdisciplinarity, internationalization, and double degree programs are among the core priorities of the faculty and highlighted the strategic importance of the initiatives carried out in these areas. It was emphasized that the continuity of academic collaborations conducted at both national and international levels, as well as the preservation of a bilingual education approach, constitute key elements that strengthen the faculty’s academic vision. In this context, it was underlined that the further development and continuation of the planned double degree programs make a significant contribution to the faculty’s international visibility and academic quality.
