The Faculty Academic General Assembly Meeting was held on 10.09.2025. The meeting started with the opening speech of our University’s Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş. In her speech, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş shared evaluations on the current activities of our faculty and its academic objectives.
The agenda included program accreditation, academic activities of the departments, conference planning, and the current status of ongoing double degree programs. General evaluations regarding the Departments of Cultural and Communication Sciences, Psychology, and Sociology were presented.
Furthermore, the importance of diversifying research colloquia and strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation was emphasized.
In the final part, experiences of faculty members who are currently in Germany within the scope of the DAAD research program were shared. The meeting concluded with the exchange of views and suggestions from the faculty members.
